THE RELAXATION CHALLENGE IS DESIGNED TO CALM THE MIND AND RELAX THE BODY, WITH A COMBINATION OF CONSCIOUS BREATHING, GENTLE STRETCHING, LOW-IMPACT MOVEMENT AND GUIDED MEDITATION.

  1. NATURAL TRANQUILLISER – In this sequence, we’ll learn a calming breathing exercise and stretch muscles throughout the body to relieve tension and tightness. 
     

  2. STATE OF RELAXATION – In this sequence, we’ll cultivate a state of calm relaxation to quiet the mind and soothe the body.
     

  3. RELEASING TENSION – In this sequence, we’ll release tension and tightness in the hips. 
     

  4. STRESS RELIEF – In this sequence, we’ll learn a new breathing technique to help us deal more capably with stressful events. 
     

  5. BODY SCAN – This sequence includes a therapeutic body scan meditation to calm the mind and relax the body.
     

  6. BACK PAIN – This gentle sequence is designed to release tension in the lower back.
     

  7. MENTAL CLARITY – In this sequence, we’ll learn a technique to develop concentration and self-awareness. 
     

  8. RESTORATIVE PRACTICE – This gentle stretching sequence will induce a state of deep and profound relaxation. 
     

  9. SIDE-STRETCHING – This sequence stretches the muscles between the ribs allowing the lungs to expand and facilitate more effective breathing.
     

  10. EASEFUL POSTURE – In this sequence, we’ll observe our posture and how it impacts the effectiveness of the respiratory system. 
     

  11. SPINAL MOBILITY – In this sequence, we’ll focus on the relationship between the flow of the breath and the movement of the spine.
     

  12. RELIEVING TIGHTNESS – This sequence is designed to release tightness - especially in the hips and hamstrings.
     

  13. BENDING & FLEXING – In this sequence, we’ll bend, flex and twist the spine to release tension and increase suppleness in the upper body.
     

  14. HEALTHY SPINE – In this gentle sequence, we’ll focus on moving the spine, deepening the breath and quieting the mind.
     

  15. TWISTS & TURNS – In this sequence, we’ll wring out tension with a series of gentle twists that refresh your body and mind.
